POV Alpha Verum
After I had gotten that letter telling me my dad who I had thought to be dead for my entire life, wasn't actually dead, my brain kind of shut down. I think I started running to only Gods know where, until my brain flickered on again and I stopped here. Deep in the forest, stupid brain. Now all I had to do is get back to wherever camp is. I looked down at the letter in my hand.

Dear Alpha Verum,
How are you? I hope this letter arrives because in my time, letters would sometimes not even arrive, I hope that Hermes has a stricter regulated service now. Oh wait introduction stupid. I am your dad. No, not lying to you girl. I am Brendon Verum, and I am your father. This might come to you as a shock but yes, I am not dead. The reason I didn't get to write you sooner is this, well there isn't really an excuse for ignoring you and I trulyappollogise apologise for that. I am a person to know when somebody is lying, and when I was younger I had this friend, a son of Apollo. Who I think is dead now... Now you know that children of Apollo sometimes have the gift of seeing the future, or rather the curse. To keep a long story short he, this friend of mine, had this dream about me. I was all grown up and had a daughter, now this is the long way... The point is, he told me not to contact you until you were 16. Happy birthday Alpha. I get it if you are mad at me. But if you ever want to contact me I added contact details.
Brendon Verum
I can't believe it, my dad isn't dead? He remembered that all that time. I sat down on the floor not caring that my pants would get dirty because everybody had a dirty butt at sometime here. I thought of sending him an Iris message only I had no water here. Maybe I could set out alone with Beta like the old times? Or take a friend? No, I was not getting friends killed here. Setting out with Beta would be a good thing to do. I took out the machine Daxter had made for me, it was used to call Beta. It worked great because after some minutes I heard the familiar noise that was Beta approaching in his usual not so stealthy ways of doing. 'Hey boy.' I said as he sat down next to me. 'Are you ready for another adventure?'
Only then did I decide to see where my dad was living at the moment, it shocked me. This man lived in Europe? In this country called The Netherlands? Apparently there's hardly any danger there, crossed out, less than in America. Those monsters are racists, yet for some reason I am glad that they are, my dad isn't dead. A thought popped up in my mind, Daxter came from The Netherlands didn't he? I'd have to tell him, he'd know the way there. 'Hey Beta, I am lost do you know the way back?' Sure he did. I headed for the Hermes cabin, hoping to find him there.
